SNL Spoof on government shutdown

This weekend SNL did a skit on the new film "Gravity" and the government shutdown. The skit shows 2 astornauts in space needing assistance from NASA, but no one is there to help but a janitor. The government has been shutdown for about 2 weeks now.
Kenan Thompson plays the janitor who mocks the government shutdown saying he's the only essential employee in the building.

New shatter-proof iphone screen protector

A new product called the "Shatterproof" is out now. It is a screen protector for smart phones that is supposed to withstand scratches, drops, virtually anything that could possibly shatter your iphone screen. The screen protector is only $29.99, a low price for such a reliable product.
Of course it is hard to believe a tiny film of plastic could protect your screen from basically anything. A group of people even tested out the "Shatterproof" and had only postive things to say. The protector withstood a drill, a hammer, and other destructive items.

Is Eminem "Rap God"?

Eminem has released a new song titled "Rap God". The song has definitely started a discussion on who really is the best rapper of all time. The buzz on the songs have caused the song to become a trending topic on Twitter.
Clearly the author of the article agrees that Eminem is the best, and so do many people who have listened to the song. In some parts Eminem can rap up to 4 words per second! If you don't agree that Eminem is the God of rap, then you should listen to the track yourself.

Minimum Wage- Why we need it!

Recently there has been a lot of talk about the minimum wage. So many people are on the fence about whether it is a good thing or not. Personally I believe the minimum wage is needed. If there was no minimum wage, a person could be working for a dollar an hour for a job that should be paying a lot more than that.
Teenagers typically rely on these minimum wage jobs. These jobs are not usually the best and most desired postitions, but because of the starting price kids are settling for them. If these jobs were not paying the amount they are now, NO ONE would take them, because we would not be making enough to even barely support ourselves.
As Franklin Roosevelt said on the situation, "All but the hopelessly reactionary will agree that to conserve our primary resources of man power, government must have some control over maximum hours, minimum wages, the evil of chil labor and the exploitation of unorganized labor." Minimum wage is much needed and should remain the same.
